HOW IT WORKS
Please note that this is a very detailed and time consuming art and the timeline is dependent on many different variables. Due to these variables, the floral preservation process may take anywhere from 4-6 months to complete. It is my highest priority that your preservation receives the time and attention it deserves. Your patience and understanding of this process is so appreciated!
.01. Reserve Your Date
Submit your inquiry through the link provided, and within 48 hours, I’ll check my availability and send over an order form along with a link for you to schedule a call if you would like to speak to me directly. After submitting the form, I'll put together a proposal for you with a contract and initial payment invoice, which covers the drying and processing your bouquet. This also secures your date and locks in current pricing. Be sure to check your spam/junk folder for my response if you don't see it in your primary inbox! The proposal is valid for 5 business days, so if any changes occur after this, the pricing may adjust. Your date is officially booked once your initial payment is made and the contract is signed. From there, you'll get a link to your client portal where you can keep track of everything, from interactions to shipping instructions.
02. Ship Your Flowers
Once your spot is reserved, I'll send detailed instructions on how to care for and ship your blooms, with overnight shipping highly recommended due to their delicate nature. If you're local, pick-up and drop-off options are available too. I’ll also reach out a week before your wedding with a design questionnaire and a fresh set of instructions.
03. Drying Time
When I receive your flowers, I’ll send you a quick email to let you know they’ve arrived safe and sound along with a photo of their arrival condition. Then, I’ll carefully process and dry them. The drying process takes time at a minimum of 4 weeks depending on the type of flowers and their moisture content. Once fully dried, I’ll prepare them for pouring, including any necessary touch-ups like reattaching petals or performing color correction if it’s part of your order. These steps can sometimes extend the timeline but ensure the best results!
04. Design, Creation, and Ship-out
Once it’s time to design your piece, I’ll refer to the questionnaire you submitted and send over one complimentary proof of your design. If you'd like additional designs, we can arrange that as well. Once the design is confirmed, your final invoice will be sent, and after payment, we can schedule the pouring process. I’ll pour your piece in layers, giving each one the attention it deserves. Once it’s ready, I’ll finish and pack it up carefully for shipping. In total, the entire process can take up to 6 months, but it’s all to ensure that your preservation is as stunning and meaningful as it deserves to be.
