-
Modern Flower Preservation is a process of preserving flowers through a unique technique of drying them and casting them in resin. Unlike pressing flowers, this method allows the blooms to retain their natural shape and color, making it an art form in itself.
-
I am based out of Northern Michigan, but proudly serve couples nation-wide.
-
Wedding Bouquet Preservation should be on your vendors to book list so a good rule of thumb is to book right around the same time you book your florist (around 3-6 months).

If you are within 30 miles of Levering, MI, I can pick up your flowers from your reception or meet with you the day following your wedding for a $100 fee. Alternatively, you can drop them off to me free of charge.
For those who are not local, you will need to ship your flowers to me via UPS overnight. UPS is the recommended carrier due to their consistent on-time delivery. Once your deposit has been received, you will receive detailed instructions on how to package your bouquet.

When it comes to perishable products like flowers, time is of the essence. It's best to ship them out as soon as possible after your event. For example, if you have a Friday or Saturday wedding, follow the floral care instructions until you're able to ship them out on Monday. To avoid having your flowers sit in a truck or delivery center over the weekend, it's crucial to appoint a responsible party who can handle the packing and shipping of your flowers the day after your event. Overnight shipping is essential, as the quality of the flowers declines considerably on the second day. If overnight shipping is not an option, there are alternative methods to consider, such as drying your flowers yourself and shipping them out once dried. Please reach out to discuss these alternative options. Keep in mind that flowers dry best when they're fresh and healthy, so the sooner they're shipped out, the better the results.
When determining the shipping costs for your bouquet, there are a few key considerations to keep in mind. Firstly, there is the cost of shipping the bouquet to my location, which includes the expense of supplies and materials necessary for proper packaging. However, these costs are relatively low because most people already have the necessary items at home. Additionally, there is the actual cost of shipping the flowers themselves. Since flowers are delicate and perishable, it's essential to ship them overnight to my location in Northern Michigan. The faster the flowers arrive and the more carefully they are packed, the better condition they will be in for me to work with. Unfortunately, I cannot provide an estimate for the cost of shipping the flowers as it depends on factors such as the carrier you choose and the weight and size of your bouquet. Nonetheless, your florist can provide an approximate estimate for the final size and weight of your bouquet, which you can then use to request quotes from different carriers. Finally, there is the cost of shipping the finished product back to you, which is a flat rate of $35 and has already been included in the proposal.

The turnaround time for your orders can vary depending on the season and the volume of requests I receive. Generally, it takes around 4-6 months to complete your order if pre-booked, but please note that this is not a precise timeline and well worth the wait for the flowers you will have forever!
If I am fully booked for a certain date, I will take on a secondary wave of order with an extended timeline of 6-9 months

Yes! Not only does resin cast floral preservation create a beautiful display from these precious blooms, it also protects them from further damage and dust.
Please note that I won't be able to accept flowers that have mold or moisture. If you're uncertain whether I can work with them, feel free to send me photos at hello@theevermorefloweret.com. It's important to understand that The Evermore Floweret is not responsible for any mold, rotting, dust or hair that may be present in the flowers and not visible to me.

YES! Day of Floral care can go a LONG way.
1.)While it's natural for your florals to get moved around and used, try to avoid touching the petals. The oil from our hands can transfer onto the petals causing bruising.
2.) If you plan to have a bouquet toss at your wedding, consider using an artificial or mini bouquet instead. Although some petal bruising is unavoidable and can add character, handle the flowers gently to reduce the chances of bruising.
3.)Keep the stems in water throughout the day when your bouquet is not in use and until it's time to ship them.
4.) There is a difference in your floral condition when you "kind of" follow the directions and you truly follow them. This is a beautiful investment, taking the time to properly package your bouquet is a must.

Yes! You will receive a design questionnaire detailing various aspects of your design. Once your design is complete, you'll receive a complimentary design proof for confirmation. Extra designs are available for purchase if you would like more than one design option.

It really depend on a few factors such as the size of your order, how full you would like your design to be, and the condition of your flowers. The best flowers are always chosen and used for your statement piece first. If you want to maximize the potential of your flowers, I recommend opting for a larger resin piece. Please note that any extra florals remaining are not shipped back.

When flowers are dried and preserved, the moisture is removed from the petals and varying changes can occur . Below are a few (but not all) changes that can happen:
*Red or deep-colored roses may darken
*White flowers may take on an off-white or yellowish hue (even with color correction, they will not be bright white)
*"Bruising" or "translucent spots" may appear. To minimize this, avoid handling, touching or throwing your flowers.
*Some tropical flowers or greenery may not survive the drying process or may turn brown. These can be replaced with artificial replicas or in some cases color corrected.
Please note that color correction is a service that is offered. This restores your flowers' original colors and covers the majority of bruising and transparent spots.

Caring for your preservation is essential to maintain their quality and longevity. Follow these simple steps to keep your modern preserved flowers looking their best:
Handle your art pieces with care and avoid rough handling.
Display your art pieces out of direct sunlight, heat, and humidity.
To clean and dust, use a lint-free microfiber cloth or a little warm soapy water.
Avoid using Windex or any harsh cleaning agents on your art pieces.
Polish Your Preservation once every 3-6 months to maintain the condition and shine.

I take pride in creating extraordinary, handmade pieces of art that are designed to connect you to a special moment, using only the highest quality materials. I am committed to crafting timeless pieces that will bring joy and happiness for years to come. Please note that because each item is handmade, your order may come with minor imperfections that are considered to be added beauty to the piece.
Here are some things to keep in mind when you make a purchase:
When flowers dry, their color tone and depth may change, and we cannot predict the exact shade that will result. Each flower has many varieties and may dry differently, so please be aware of this when making your purchase.
Sometimes flowers can become slightly translucent when coated in resin due to floral bruising, which is not within our control.
The lines you see on the sides of your piece are a result of the layer-by-layer pouring process to avoid burning your florals.
Over time, all resin begins to acquire a yellowing amber glow, but I use only the highest quality resin and constantly monitor variables such as temperature and humidity to produce the best outcome for your piece.
Micro-bubbles may appear in your piece, but I do my best to avoid and correct them. These bubbles can actually add an ethereal feel to the piece and are often quite beautiful.
